Photos
“Some photos are meaningful not because of the object. Sometimes it was about the moment. When did we take it? What did we feel at that very moment? Why did we wanna memorize that moment? Who do we wanna show it to? How do we expect that person to feel or react when he/she sees it? Some other times, some photos are meaningful because we know someone will feel very happy to receive and see it. Because we were remembering that person when we took it. And sometimes, they hold some feelings that we couldn't say out loud.”
“That's from the photographer's point of view. Yet do you know why the one who receive them feel happy? Even just to see some random meaningless scene? From the viewer's point of view?”
“Hm...tell me?”
“Because those pictures show a glimpse of the photographer's days, which the viewer wasn't able to share with. Or a glimpse of how the photographer see the world, which is very different from the viewer's point of view. Those pictures freezed the time and the memories. And sometimes, they gave space to some feelings that we wanna make sure of. :)”
